American Idol alumni Mandisa was the ninth-place finalist in its fifth season (2006). After her stint on the reality singing competition, Mandisa has made efforts toward living a healthier lifestyle and to lose weight. And she has succeeded. Mandisa has lost a whopping 106 pounds! I know many people are wondering how she lost all that excess weight. So, how did she do it?
In order to be in shape, Mandisa hired a personal trainer. She also learned how to cook healthier foods because she wants to lose weight in a healthy way.
On April 5, she released her album “What If We Were Real”. According to the singer, it’s quite challenging to stick with her diet when she’s touring to promote her music. But she’s trying her best to live healthy.
