After giving birth, Britney Spears has been struggling with weight and is now trying hard to get back in shape. However, she’s having trouble sticking to her diet because she just can’t stay away from junk food. The media is constantly showing pictures of her splurging on pizza and other unhealthy food.

Britney confesses that being on a diet is the definition of hell for her. The singer recently said that she would undergo plastic surgery to shed some pounds, rather than go on a strict diet, count calories and cut back on food.

Aside from junk food, she also loves to treat herself to some candy and croissants. Unfortunately, her sweet tooth has led her to gain about 14 pounds in a single month back in 2009, while on her Circus world tour.

But, Sharon reveals that her reason for saying that is that it completely changed her perspective on life. She’s become less self centered and is content with is realizing how important it is to reach out to help others.

Sharon has also learned to be content with a change of diet, believing that her dietary habits played a key role in her contracting the deadly condition.

Before her cancer scare, Sharon indulged in a lot of junk food and dairy. She even enjoyed late night milkshakes whenever they caught her fancy.

The Giants ace managed to put on 11 pounds this spring but considering his diet, how is that a surprise? However, he does work out like crazy to stay in top shape. He runs the stadium stair for 35 minutes and does weight training in the gym.

Up-Down Plank
Works: arms, chest, core
Use: bench

  • In front of a plyo box, get down on your hands and knees in a plank position so that your body is in line from head to toe.
  • Put your right hand on top of the box, then the left hand.
  • Return to starting position in front of the box and repeat, this time starting with the other hand.
  • Complete 16-20 reps.

Box Jump
Works: butt and legs
Use: plyo box or step

  • Facing a box or a step, stand with your feet shoulder width apart.
  • Extend your arms at your sides and squat.
  • Allowing your arms to help propel you, jump up onto the plyo box.
  • Step back down to starting position.
  • Repeat for 20-25 reps.

Push-Press
Works: butt, legs, shoulders, and triceps
Use: kettlebell

Note: This is an intense workout, but Vanessa had to do 500 reps in during one of her workouts. Are you brave enough to attempt it?
